PAOLA MARQUEZ feat. RONI BEN-HUR & RUI SALGADO

This collaboration began in 2019 with a first encounter where musicians from different backgrounds came together, blending their experiences and cultures while adapting to time and distance. On that occasion, they recorded their first cover, “Yo Vengo a Ofrecer Mi Corazón” by Fito Páez — a version with strong jazz influences, under the direction of maestro Roni Ben-Hur, who has long shown a deep interest in Latin American music. For Paola, it was a valuable opportunity to showcase her versatility in jazz while staying true to her essence. Now, in this 2025 reunion — enriched by the talented Portuguese bassist Rui Salgado — the trio presents a carefully curated repertoire dedicated to bossa nova, Argentinian zamba, and many other styles, exploring their melodic richness and natural connection with jazz in a musical dialogue that transcends borders.
